RCCER makes its 2024 election endorsements
HUMBOLDT – The Redwood Coalition for Climate and Environmental Responsibility has released its endorsements for the 2024 election.
The mission of the Redwood Coalition for Climate and Environmental Responsibility (RCCER, pronounced “rocker”) is to ensure that local elected officials and government agencies on California’s North Coast take robust, just and equitable actions to address the climate crisis and other key environmental issues.
Humboldt Progressive Democrats endorsed candidates for both Arcata and Eureka City Council. During Wednesday’s special meeting, each candidate spoke about their vision and platform and answered questions from members. Topics ranged from repairing the relationship with Cal Poly Humboldt to sea level rise to law enforcement oversight.

This is a big change for the city and their input isn’t going unappreciated.
